Homemade Guac!

I absolutely LOVE guacamole!

But the problem with my recipe is, I NEVER FOLLOW ONE! So I did my best to measure it out this time.

Here’s the Recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 6 avocados

  • 1 large firm tomato

  • 1/2 cup chopped red onion

  • 2-3 gloves of fresh garlic minced (love garlic, so I put 3)

  • 2 limes (I like lots!)

  • 1 small jalapeño pepper finely chopped (no seeds)

  • 2-3 tablespoons freshly chopped cilantro

  • Little pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions:

  • You’ll need a cutting board, sharp knife, and a large bowl.

  • Wash all ingredients (even ones with skin) before you begin.

  • De-skin avocados and add them to the large bowl. Squish them with a fork, leave it a bit chunky if you like it that way.

  • Chop: large tomato, red onion, jalapeno pepper into small pieces. Finely chop the cilantro.

  • Add all the ingredients to the large bowl and mix thoroughly with a fork.

  • Refrigerate for an hour or more and then enjoy!

Note: This recipe calls for a lot of garlic & lime and I add minimal cilantro because that is how I like it! So please feel free to adjust according to your personal preference.
